I noticed a few Crystal Light ads in certain women’s magazines, such as Vogue, Allure and US Weekly, that totally portrayed women as VAIN creatures constantly worried about they way they look and the size of their bodies. I took a few pictures of the ad i will be uploading them soon…. once i do that i will continue this blog … but if you happen to see the ads …. feel free to leave a comment on what your initial reaction was.

I saw the same ad in some magazines. It`s true: we seem always worried about gaining and loosing weight, and the advertisers and companies interpret our “fears” and create new product for us…I think the 60 per cent of the ads showed in magazines is about light food, light products , pills for loosing weight, anti cellulite cream and so on. This is connected with the article about beauty and perfection we read last week. We try to be perfect because the ads show us how to be perfect and advertisers give us the solutions for these “problems” but we MUST ALWAYS REMEMBER that only the 4 per cent of the population is perfect: models, movie stars and singers with photoshop retouching:)
